Help us to keep inspiring the next generation of explorers!
Since founding RocketSTEM in late 2012, we’ve stated that each issue of the magazine will be 100% free to read. As a 501(c)(3) registered non-profit organization, that is a mission we intend to never stray from, however, that is not to say that funding such a publication is not costly. Even with the efforts of so many volunteers, we do have a myriad of expenses related to the website and magazine, as well as funding of future endeavors such as developing a series of classroom lessons for all grade levels.
For us, developing educational content that can be used in classrooms is a top priority, therefore we have never sold advertising space in the magazine, as some schools would frown upon using it as a resource then. If you would like to help us continue our mission, please consider making a donation to RocketSTEM. You can make a one-time donation, or a monthly recurring donation, using the form below.
Donations via check or money order may be mailed to: RocketSTEM Media Foundation, P.O. Box 1053, Pensacola, FL 32591.
Thank you for your support.
We hope you enjoy our educational content and will continue to be inquisitive about the universe we all inhabit.
Donate $5 or More and Get Our Exclusive Mars Exploration Rovers Sticker Pack
All this year we are rewarding donors of $5 or more (including overseas addresses) with this set of four 3″ high-gloss vinyl stickers celebrating the history of NASA’s rovers – and now a helicopter – exploring the surface of Mars. The artist behind these exclusive stickers is RocketSTEM volunteer Isaiah Girard. We’ll also include our first RocketSTEM “Explore the universe” sticker and bookmark. If you donate $15 we’ll send you five sets. Donate $25 and we’ll send you 10 sets. Donate $150 or $250 and we’ll send a care package of 100 or 200 sets of stickers and bookmarks – and other space goodies – to your favorite K-12 teacher (available only for American classrooms).
RocketSTEM garners Platinum Seal from GuideStar
RocketSTEM Media Foundation has earned the 2022 Platinum Seal of Transparency, the highest level of recognition offered by GuideStar, the world’s largest source of nonprofit information. RocketSTEM has earned the platinum-level seal in prior years as well.
At the Platinum Seal level of transparency, donors are given access to information about an organization’s impact and results. By sharing metrics that highlight RocketSTEM’s work toward its mission, the organization is helping donors move beyond simplistic ways of nonprofit evaluation such as overhead ratios.
To reach the Platinum level, RocketSTEM added extensive information to its GuideStar Nonprofit Profile which is available at www.guidestar.org. By taking the time to provide this information, RocketSTEM has demonstrated its commitment to transparency and to giving donors and funders meaningful information to evaluate nonprofit performance.
